The inclusion of CHM in PMC is a certification of the quality of the journal, which means that the journal quality and open access policy of CHM have reached international standards and are of great significance in promoting the dissemination, improving international exposure and enhancing academic influence of the journal. Global readers can access all articles of the journal since 2020 for free in the PMC database at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/journals/4291/.

PMC is a Web-based biomedical information retrieval system developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), a division of the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM) and is freely available worldwide. Free access to the full text of all journals is the core principle of PMC, which is truly the world's most authoritative biomedical OA journal database with the highest utilization rate for searching biomedical literature in the world. The inclusion of PMC is of great significance to improve the international academic influence of journals.
