肉苁蓉Cistanches Herba是列当科肉苁蓉属植物，其肉质茎作为我国珍稀名贵药材使用，具有宝贵的食药价值和开发潜力。目前，已从肉苁蓉中分离和鉴定出多种化学成分，包括苯乙醇苷类、环烯醚萜类、木脂素类、糖类等。现代研究表明，肉苁蓉具有抗肿瘤、保护神经及改善记忆、保护肾脏、抗炎保肝、抗衰老、调节免疫等作用，主要活性成分具有抑制肝癌、治疗阿尔茨海默病、帕金森病、血管性痴呆、骨质疏松症、糖尿病等疾病的功效。通过对国内、外肉苁蓉的化学成分和药理作用机制及临床应用潜力的研究进展进行综述，为肉苁蓉后续研究和综合开发利用提供科学依据。

Roucongrong (Cistanches Herba) is a plant of the genus Cistanche in the family Orobanchaceae, and its fleshy stems are used as rare and valuable medicinal herbs in China, with valuable food and medicine value and development potential. At present, a variety of chemical constituents have been isolated and characterized from deserticola, including phenylethanol glycosides, iridoids, lignans, and carbohydrates. Modern studies have shown that Cistanches Herba has the effects of antitumor, nerve protection and memory improvement, kidney protection, anti-inflammatory and liver protection, anti-aging, immune regulation, etc. The main active ingredients have the effect of inhibiting liver cancer, treating Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, vascular dementia, osteoporosis, diabetes and other diseases. The purpose of this paper is to review the effects of Cistanches Herba in China and abroad. The aim of this paper is to summarize the progress of research on the chemical composition, pharmacological effects and clinical potential of Cistanches Herba at home and abroad, so as to provide a scientific basis for the follow-up research and comprehensive development and utilization of Cistanches Herba.
