糖尿病肾病(diabetic nephropathy,DN)是糖尿病患者常见的微血管并发症之一,已成为导致终末期肾病的主要原因。该病起病隐匿,在临床治疗中往往错过最佳干预时机,严重影响患者的生活质量和生命安全。姜黄素是一种从姜黄根茎中提取的多酚类化合物,具有广泛的药理作用。近年来,随着对姜黄素研究的不断深入,其在DN治疗中的应用受到广泛关注。通过分析姜黄素治疗DN的临床前研究和临床研究,发现其能够通过改善糖脂代谢紊乱、抑制炎症反应和氧化应激、减轻肾纤维化与细胞凋亡、调节肠道菌群失衡及维持自噬平衡等多种机制,对DN发挥保护作用。为姜黄素治疗DN的基础研究、药物开发与临床应用提供重要参考。

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the common microvascular complications in patients with diabetes mellitus, and has become a major cause of end-stage renal disease. The disease has an insidious onset and often misses the best time for intervention in clinical treatment, which seriously affects the quality of life and life safety of patients. Curcumin is a polyphenolic compound extracted from the rhizome of Jianghuang (Curcumae Longae Rhizoma), which has a wide range of pharmacological effects. In recent years, with the continuous deepening of the research on curcumin, its application in treatment of DN has received widespread attention. By analyzing the preclinical and clinical studies of curcumin in treatment of DN, it was found that it can exert a protective effect on DN through a variety of mechanisms, such as improving the disorders of glucose and lipid metabolism, inhibiting inflammatory response and oxidative stress, attenuating renal fibrosis and apoptosis, regulating the imbalance of intestinal flora, and maintaining the balance of autophagy. To provide an important reference for the basic research, drug development and clinical application of curcumin in treatment of DN.
