目的 药食同源中药材是中国传统中医药理论中“食疗”思想的重要体现,以薏苡仁产业为代表,探讨其技术发展趋势及产业布局问题,以期为推动中药农业发展和助力乡村经济振兴提供启示。方法 运用专利导航分析方法,系统梳理和分析全球范围内薏苡仁的专利技术发展动态及区域分布特征,重点对技术热点、产业应用领域及关键问题进行比较研究。结果 以中国为主的东亚国家是薏苡仁技术研发与布局的主要区域,且境内外开发领域差异较小。技术研发热点集中于药用功效的开发,产业关键技术聚焦于提取物和组合物的应用。此外,化妆品及新型功能性食品领域呈现出较大的技术竞争潜力。然而,薏苡仁产业链仍存在短、散、不健全及市场定位低的问题。结论 推动薏苡仁为代表的药食同源中药材产业高质量发展,应注重功能多维开发,重点聚焦天然活性成分及非药用部位的资源化利用,构建循环经济模式,提升产业协同效应。建议加强关键技术领域专利布局,推动高附加值技术创新,同时优化知识产权保护与国际市场竞争力。通过建立社会化农业经济模式与协同创新体系,整合资源、促进成果转化,实现农业科技创新与乡村经济可持续振兴。

Objective Medicinal and edible homologous Chinese herbal medicine represent an important embodiment of the “dietary therapy” concept in traditional Chinese medicine theory, using the Yiyiren (Coicis Semen) industry as a representative example, this study explores its technological development trends and industrial layout, aiming to provide insights for advancing traditional Chinese medicine agriculture and supporting rural economic revitalization. Methods Using patent navigation analysis, it systematically reviews and analyzes the global patent dynamics and regional distribution characteristics of Coicis Semen, with an emphasis on comparing technological hotspots, industrial application fields, and key challenges. Results The findings indicate that East Asian countries, led by China, are the main regions for Coicis Semen technology research and industrial layout, with minimal differences in development focus between domestic and international contexts. Technological research primarily targets medicinal efficacy, with key industrial applications centered on the development of extracts and compositions. Additionally, the cosmetics and functional food sectors exhibit significant technological potential. However, the Coicis Semen industry chain remains fragmented, underdeveloped, and characterized by low market positioning. Conclusion To achieve high-quality development of the Coicis Semen industry and other medicinal and edible homologous Chinese herbal medicine, emphasis should be placed on multidimensional functional development, with a focus on the resourceful utilization of natural active ingredients and non-medicinal parts. Constructing a circular economy model and enhancing industrial synergy are critical. Strengthening patent layout in key technological areas, driving high-value innovation, and optimizing intellectual property protection and international market competitiveness are also essential. Finally, establishing a socialized agricultural economic model and collaborative innovation system will facilitate resource integration and result transformation, driving agricultural technological innovation and sustainable rural economic revitalization.
