党参Codonopsis Radix是具有健脾益肺、养血生津之效的药食同源中药。有丰富的化学成分以及药理活性，具有保护神经、保护肠胃、保护心血管、调血脂、降血糖、抗衰老、抗氧化、抗肿瘤以及免疫调节等作用。常作为药膳以及保健品使用，在药品上也应用广泛，如复方党参片、生脉饮等，具有很高的药用价值和经济价值。通过对党参的本草考证、化学成分、药理活性、药食两用等多个方面进行概述，对其应用现状进行分析，为党参的可持续发展、药食同源开发和综合利用奠定理论基础。

Dangshen (Codonopsis Radix) is a medicinal and food source herbal medicine with the effect of strengthening the spleen, benefiting the lung, nourishing the blood and promoting the production of body fluid. It has rich chemical components and pharmacological activities, with neuroprotective, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, blood lipid regulating, hypoglycemic, anti-aging, anti-oxidation, anti-tumor, immunomodulatory effects. It is not only used as medicinal food and health care products, but also widely used in medicine, such as Compound Dangshen Tablets (复方党参片), Shengmai Yin (生脉饮) and other drugs, with high medicinal and economic value. This paper summarized the herbal research, chemical composition, pharmacological activities, and medicine and food of Codonopsis Radix, and analyzed its application status. Laying a theoretical foundation for the sustainable development, medicinal and food homologous development and comprehensive utilization of Codonopsis Radix.
