钩藤为茜草科钩藤属植物钩藤Uncaria rhynchophylla、大叶钩藤U.macrophylla、毛钩藤U.hirsuta、华钩藤U.sinensis或无柄果钩藤U.sessilifructus的干燥带钩茎枝,具有息风定惊、清热平肝之功效。作为多基原药材,钩藤中的化学成分种类繁多,类型多样,主要包括生物碱类、萜类、黄酮类和有机酸类等。随着国内外对钩藤药理学研究的不断深入,逐步确定了单萜吲哚类生物碱是其发挥药理作用的重要物质基础,在癌症和心脑血管系统等疾病的治疗中均呈现出较好的效果。为进一步阐明钩藤中单萜吲哚类生物碱的化学结构特征和药理活性,对近30年来报道的107个钩藤单萜吲哚类生物碱的化学成分和药理作用进行综述,以期为钩藤中单萜吲哚类生物碱成分的后续深入研究提供参考。

Gouteng (Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis) is the dry stem branch from plants in Uncaria genus, including U. rhynchophylla, U. macrophylla, U. hirsuta, U. sinensis, and U. sessilifrudus, which has the effects of calming endogenous wind and arresting convulsions, clearing heat and suppressing hyperactive liver. As the multi-original crude medicine, there are many varieties of different types of chemical constituents in Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis, mainly including alkaloids, terpenes, flavonoids and organic acids. With the in-depth research, it has been gradually confirmed that monoterpenoid indole alkaloids are the important material basis for the efficacy of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis. Uncaria alkaloids have shown good efficacy in treatment of cancer, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. To further elucidate the chemical structure characteristics and pharmacological activities of monoterpenoid indole alkaloids in Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis, 107 monoterpenoid indole alkaloids reported in the past 30 years were summarized in this paper, in order to provide a reference for follow-up research and further development of monoterpenoid indole alkaloids in Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis.
