中药的色泽与品质关系密切，历代本草有对颜色质量评价的记载，现代研究也表明中药颜色与化学成分具有相关性。对古本草、现代文献、《中国药典》等进行查阅整理，将中药颜色与质量的关系从中药颜色的药性、临床药效和化学成分的相关性，颜色影响因素，辨色论质的历史渊源、研究进展、应用现状进行综述，以达到利用现代化方法更全面地认识中药色与质的内在联系，更科学地传承传统理论与方法的目的。

The color and lustre of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is closely related to its quality. The quality evaluation of TCM based on color has been recorded in herbal works of past dynasties. Some modern research also showed that color of TCM is related to chemical components. In this paper, ancient herbal works, modern literature, Chinese Pharmacopoeia, etc. were reviewed. The relationship between color and quality of TCM was summarized from the correlation with properties, clinical efficacy and chemical compositions, interfering factors of color, the historical origin, research progress, and application of color grading. The purpose is to make full use of modern methods, understand the inner relationship between color and quality more comprehensively, and inherit traditional theories and methods more scientifically.
