[Abstract]
A TLC method for the quantitation of matrine in Shikangfu granules Ⅱ was described. A mixed solvent of toluene-acetone-ethanol-concentrated ammonia solution (20:20:3:1) was employed as the developer, and dected at 515 nm. Colour developing agent was modified bismuth potassium iodide. Results gave a linear concentration range of 2.328~6.984 μg, regression equation of Y=2 886.02~2 066.96, correlation coefficient r=0.998 0 and average recovery and RSD 97.7% and 2.31%. This method is simple, relatively fast and reproducible.
