用硫酸-咔唑法测定天然多糖化合物中糖醛酸含量时,发现中性糖对测定结果有影响,并提出相应的改进方法。即测定中性糖的吸收度,从样品的吸收度值减去中性糖的吸收度值,即为糖醛酸的吸收度值。

The quantitative determination of uronic acid in natural polysaccharides by the traditional sulfuric acid-carbazole colorimetry,was found to be interfered by the presence of neutral sugars. According1y,an improved method was developed by determining the absorbance of the neutral sugar and substract this value from the absorbance of the sample to obtain the corrected value of uronic acid.
