从西洋参果中分得 6个配糖体。经理化常数和波谱分析分别鉴定为人参皂苷20（S）-Rg₃（Ⅰ）、20（R）-Rg₃（Ⅱ）、-Re（Ⅲ）、-Rd（Ⅳ）、-Rb₃（Ⅴ）和胡萝卜苷（Ⅵ）.化合物Ⅰ～Ⅵ均为首次从该植物分得的已知化合物。

Six glycosides were isolated from the fruit of Panax quinquefolium L.. They were identified as 20(S)-Rg₃(Ⅰ)、20(R)-Rg₃(Ⅱ)、-Re(Ⅲ)、-Rd(Ⅳ)、-Rb₃(Ⅴ)and daucosterol(Ⅵ)respectively, on the basis of chemical evidences and spectral analysis. All the glycosides were separated from the fruit of P. quinquefolium L. for the first time.
