通过杜仲的扦插繁殖试验，结果认为：在北京地区最适宜的扦插期是5月下旬至7月中旬；成年树插穗的成活率很低，一般在20％以下，2年生幼树插穗成话率可达60％；外源生长素对诱发插穗不定根生长效果显著，其中NAA50μg／mL处理20年生成树的当年生枝条，最高成活率可达68％，根系生长茂密。

Cutting propagation of Eucommia ulmoides Oliv (E.U.)was studied.The results showed that the best suitab1e period for cutting propagation of E. U. was from the last ten days of May to the second ten days of July in Beijing. The survival rate of cuttings from adult-tree was low(under 20%). But it reached to 60% if from two-year-old tree. Exogenous hormones had significant effects for adventitious root formation. One-year-branch cutting from twenty-year-old tree treated with NAA (50 μg/mL)had the highest survival rate of 68% and the rootings grew flourishly.
