对黄芩开花结实习性的初步研究，阐明了黄芩的开花动态特征，确认黄芩为蜂传授粉植物。从黄芩异质混杂群体中经混合选择分离出生育期不同的早、中、晚3类型。比较结果表明晚熟类型生长旺盛，单根重大，黄酮含量约4．94％，为较优类型。

Flowering and fruiting habits of Scutellaria baicalensis were studied with results which showed that it is an entomophilous and cross pollinating plants. Three types of different maturing periods,early,mid and late were separated from the compl cated heterogeneous population through mixed selection,and a comparisom of their growing power,root weight and active composition contents was carried out. lt was found that the late maturing type proved to be the most superior.
