探讨了柴胡与黄年伍用的清热与抗病毒作用。结果表明，两者伍用不能显著降低伤寒-副伤寒所致家兔体温升高，能显著地抑制鸡胚内流感病毒，降低小鼠肺炎病毒所致小鼠肺指数增高和死亡率。

The antipyretic and antiviral effect of Chaihu when incorporated with Huanqin was studied. Results proved that when the two drugs were used in corporation markedly reduction of rabbit body temperature elevated by typhoid paratyphoid A and B triple vaccine and significant inhibition of influenza virus A in chiken embryo were achieved. It was also found to decrease the elevated pneumonia index and mortality of mice caused by pneumonia virus of murine.
