[Abstract]

A first derivative spectral method was established for the determination of alkaloids in preparations of A.carmichaeli,A.kusnezojfii,and Fuzi (A.carmichaeli ).This method showed no significant difference as com-pared with the method used in Chinese Pharmacopoeia at 95% confidence level.The method is simple and sensitive.
