对云南西双版纳的药源调查和商品鉴定结果表明, 有22种石斛属、1种金石斛属及1种石仙桃属植物加工成石斛商品, 其中晶帽石斛DendrobiumcryustallinumRchb.f.、流苏石斛D.fimbriatumHook.、囊唇石斛D.moschatum(Buch.－Ham.)Sw.及鼓槌石斛D.chrysotoxumLindl.为主要品种。
