运用DEAE－纤维素柱层析和超速离心技术，从黔产葫芦科植物苦瓜MoinordicacharantiaL.果实的压榨汁中，分得一植物蛋白质，经化学和凝胶电泳鉴定，其分子量为34000，等电点为pH8.4，由17种氨基酸组成，N－末端氨基酸为亮氨酸。动物实验结果表明，该蛋白质能抑制雄鼠精子发育，具有显著的抗生育活性，有效率达88%以上。

A protein was isolated by DEAE-cellulose Chromatography and ultracentrifuge from the fruits of Momordica charantid L., and identified by chemical and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis methods. The molecular weight was 34 000; isoelectric point pH 8.4,N-end amino acid was leucine.It was composed of 17 kinds of amino acids. The protein has been shown to have antifertility action in male rats.
