从刺果甘草Glycyrrhizapallidiflora的根和根茎中分得42个化合物结晶（晶Ⅰ～ⅩⅩⅩⅩⅡ）。经理化鉴别和光谱分析推定其中的晶Ⅷ是新化合物，为3β-hydroxy-oleana－11，13（18）-diene－30－oicacid，命名为刺果甘草酸（glypallidifloricacid）。晶Ⅲ是后莫紫檀素（homopterocarpin），文献报道有抗癌活性。晶Ⅸ是大豆皂醇B（soyasapogenolB）。晶Ⅲ、Ⅸ均是首次从该植物中分得。

Forty-two compounds(I～XXXXII)were isolated from the root and rhizome of Glycyrr-hiza pallidiflora Maxim..Three(Ⅲ, VIII,IX)of them were elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical methods as homoptetocarpin(Ⅲ)sβ-hydtoxy-oleana-11,13(18)-diene-30-oic ac-id(VIII)and soyasapogenol B(IX)，Ⅲ and IX were isolated for the first time from G.pallidifl-ora Maxim.,VIII is a new compound,named glypallidifloric acid. Studies of the chemical structure of the other thirty-nine components are in progress.
