草苁蓉为列当科植物Boschniakia rossica的干燥地上部分,收载于《安徽省中药饮片炮制规范》及《吉林省中药材标准》第一册。两个标准均明确记载其性温,核心功效为补肾壮阳、润肠通便,临床可用于肾虚阳痿、腰膝冷痛、肠燥便秘等病症。现代研究表明草苁蓉是一味富含多种化学成分且具有显著补益作用的中药,具有抗肿瘤、保肝、抗炎、抗氧化、抗阿尔茨海默病等多种药理活性。系统综述草苁蓉化学成分及药理作用的研究现状,在此基础上结合中药质量标志物(QMarker)的概念,从可测性、特有性、传递性、有效性及与中医药理论的相关性等方面,对草苁蓉的Q-Marker进行预测分析,推测草苁蓉苷B、红景天苷、草苁蓉纳拉苷、棕榈酸、咖啡酸、齐墩果酸、肉桂酸、没食子酸及多糖可作为其Q-Marker,为草苁蓉的质量评价提供参考依据。

Boschniakia rossica (Cham. & Schltdl.) B. Fedtsch., known as Cao Congrong in Chinese, is the dried above-ground part of a plant belonging to the Orobanchaceae family. It is included in the “Anhui Province Chinese Herbal Decoction Pieces Preparation Standards” and the first volume of the “Jilin Province Chinese Medicinal Materials Standards”. Both standards clearly state that it is warm in nature, with the core functions of tonifying the kidney and enhancing yang, and lubricating the intestines to relieve constipation. It is clinically used for treating kidney deficiency impotence, cold pain in the waist and knees, and constipation due to intestinal dryness. Modern research shows that B. rossica is a traditional Chinese medicine rich in various chemical components and with significant tonic effects, possessing multiple pharmacological activities such as anti-tumor, liver protection, anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation, and anti-Alzheimer’s disease. This paper systematically reviews the current research status of the chemical components and pharmacological activities of B. rossica. Based on this, combined with the concept of quality markers (Q-Markers) in traditional Chinese medicine, a predictive analysis of the Q-Markers of B. rossica is conducted from the aspects of measurability, specificity, transferability, effectiveness, and relevance to traditional Chinese medicine theory. It is speculated that rossicaside B, salidroside, boschnaloside, palmitic acid, caffeic acid, oleanolic acid, cinnamic acid, gallic acid, and polysaccharides can be used as its quality markers, providing a reference basis for the quality evaluation of B. rossica.
