慢性阻塞性肺疾病（COPD）是一种气流不完全受限的常见慢性呼吸系统疾病，发病率高、致死率高，已成为全球范围内威胁人类健康的主要慢性病之一，目前尚无有效的治疗药物，近年来COPD的防治已成为广大医药工作者的研究热点，尤其是中药对于COPD作用机制的研究较多。中药能够控制气道和肺部炎症、改善气道重塑、降低气道反应、调控氧化–抗氧化过程，并对蛋白酶–抗蛋白酶失衡、免疫失衡及肺功能、血液流变学、血清标记物的病理改变起到一定的调整作用。归纳总结中药治疗COPD作用机制的研究，为中药COPD作用机制的研究及COPD的治疗提供新的思路和途径。

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common chronic respiratory disease with incomplete airflow restriction with high incidence and mortality. It has become one of the major chronic diseases threatening human health worldwide without no effective treatment drugs. In recent years, the prevention and treatment of COPD has become a hot topic for the majority of medical workers, especially the research on action mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine on COPD. Traditional Chinese medicine can control airway and lung inflammation, improve airway remodeling, reduce airway responsiveness, regulate oxidation-antioxidant processes, and play a certain role in the adjustment of protease-antiprotease imbalance, immune imbalance, and pathologic change of lung function, hemorheology, and serum markers. The action mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of COPD is reviewed in this paper, providing new ideas and approaches for the research on the action mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of COPD and the treatment of COPD.
