脓毒症特指因宿主对感染反应失调而引发的威胁生命的器官功能障碍,病死率高,临床治疗手段有限。作为青蒿素的重要衍生物,青蒿琥酯展现出多方面的生物活性。青蒿琥酯可通过抑制脓毒症炎症反应、直接与协同抑制脓毒症病原体、双向调节脓毒症免疫功能、保护脓毒症内皮功能发挥治疗脓毒症的作用。总结了青蒿琥酯治疗脓毒症的作用机制研究进展,为脓毒症的临床治疗提供理论依据和潜在的治疗策略。

Sepsis specifically refers to life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection, characterized by high mortality rates and limited clinical treatment options. As an important derivative of artemisinin, artesunate exhibits multifaceted biological activities. Artesunate exerts therapeutic effects on sepsis by inhibiting inflammatory responses, directly and synergistically targeting sepsis pathogens, bidirectionally regulating immune function, and protecting endothelial function. This article summarizes the research progress on the mechanisms of artesunate in treatment of sepsis, providing a theoretical basis and potential therapeutic strategies for clinical sepsis treatment.
