丁香酚又名4-烯丙基愈创木酚，是一种弱酸性酚类化合物，主要来源于桃金娘科植物丁香干燥花蕾。丁香酚具有抗氧化、抗炎、抗肿瘤、心血管保护、抗病毒、降血糖、神经保护、骨细胞保护作用。因此综述了丁香酚的药理作用及其作用机制的研究进展，为丁香酚的开发和临床应用提供参考。

Eugenol, also known as 4-allyl guaiacol, is a weakly acidic phenolic compound mainly derived from dried flower buds of Eugenia caryophllata Thunb. in Myrtaceae family. Eugenol has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, cardiovascular protection, antiviral, hypoglycemic, neuroprotective, and osteoprotective effects. Therefore, this article reviews the research progress on pharmacological effects and mechanisms of eugenol, providing reference for the development and clinical application of eugenol.
