采用蒸发光散射检测器(ELSD)测定了湖北麦冬中山麦冬皂苷B的含量, 结果表明, ELSD是皂苷类化合物较为适宜的检测器。经对不同采收期样品的含量考察, 认为湖北麦冬的最佳采收期与传统采收期(清明)相一致。

Quantitative determination of saponins without UV absorption was tried by using the new detector ELSD in combination with HPLC. A pilot study on the determination of the content of 25 (S) ruscogenin 1 O β D fucopyranoside 3 O α L rhamnopyranose, the main saponin in Liriope spicata var. prolifera was tried and showed that the accumulational rule of the constituents in the plants could be found. It was also found that the optimal harvesting time of L. spicata var. prolifera was around early April, the Chinese solar term of Qing Ming, which coincides with the traditional Chinese practice. The results showed that ELSD is a realiable, highly sensitive and reproducible detector for saponins analysis.
