五味子科南五味子属植物在我国分布广泛，部分为民间药用植物，主要含有木脂素和三萜类化合物。近年来研究证明其具有抗肿瘤、抗病毒等生物活性。对2003年以来南五味子属植物在化学成分及药理作用方面的研究进行综述，为该属植物进一步研究开发提供资料。

The plants of genus Kadsura Kaempf. ex Juss. are distributed widely in China, and some of them are used as traditional medicinal plants. Lignans and triterpenoids are considered to be the main chemical constituents which exhibit the anti-cancer and anti-HIV activities in the recent studies. In this paper, chemical constituents in the plants of Kadsura Kaempf. ex Juss. and their pharmacological activities are reviewed, which provides the evidence for further development and use for the plants of Kadsura Kaempf. ex Juss.
